Not only the students who are facing the yearly scholastic examinations like Board exams of classes 10th and 12th- CBSE /ICSE or state boards; but the aspirants who have taken the competitive exams also get butterflies in their stomach!!!
After of long, tedious period of consistent hard work, long sleepless nights of practicing, one prepares for the examinations. He doesn’t only take care of minute details regarding preparation but also plans his mundane schedule meticulously.
But are the exam results the only parameter to judge our skills, intelligence and abilities??
We instantly reach on cloud nine when we get satisfactory results- maybe an A+ or 90% or on selection in some prestigious institutions. But what happens if we couldn’t make it though??
Depression, anxiety and nervousness surrounds us. We get enveloped by depression, dejection, disappointment and despondency …….but all we need is to convert them into dedication, determination and discipline towards our goal.
Always remember, a single sheet of paper can’t judge your capabilities and your future but a sheet full of efforts will definitely write your success story!!
It’s okay if you did not score good marks or did not get a good rank or even failed in the exams. It’s all okay… Just remember, Exams aren’t your life but your Life is the biggest exam.
The exam results are just the reflection of your efforts and luck; not of your capabilities.
So just remember the following points :
1.You are unique. Don’t compare yourself with others. God has given each and everyone distinct and unique qualities . You have your own unique qualities. So don’t compare your performance with others.
2. Surround yourself with optimistic people. Spend time with your family and friends ,who don’t believe in your marks but in your capabilities.
3. Convert your capacity into capability. Failure always encounter those who believe in learning. Even Thomas Edison got failed in his scholastic examinations, but he always believed in his abilitie-due to which he invented world’s first electric bulb!
So, don’t allow any kind of apprehension haunt you… Just believe in yourself!
All the best!!
